Here She Comes

season HSC squareOne woman’s story is retold through poetry, installation art, and Greek myth. As a daughter, she married the man she was told to. As a wife, she did her duty and gave birth to her royal son. As a mother, she supported her son no matter how much he looked to become a tyrant. Then, something remarkable happens, and suddenly this daughter/wife/mother seizes the chance to become exactly who she wants. The woods await…

A one woman epic poem written, directed, and performed by By Jove artistic associate SJ Brady, Here She Comes is a gripping reclamation of Euripides’ tale of excess and liberation, The Bacchae.
